Pacha Mama

Thain Creative was asked to develop a logo and package label for Pacha Mama. Like all of our projects we did our research and looked for ideas around "Mother Earth", finally settling on the idea of a new seed sprouting forth. After a few revisions we found the project evolved quite a bit. We always love to push the brands further so we changed the sun in the logo to a old paper texture, added some black for contrast and bam!

Dr. Liz is the business name of dr. Liz Anderson-Peacock, a chiropractor and wellness promoter. I was commissioned by MH Connect to create a identity for Dr. Liz, along the same lines as some of the other wellness promoters, such as Dr Phil and Wayne Dyer.

This was probably one of the funnest branding projects we were asked to do. K9 Scoop approached us to help develop some of the signage and branding elements for there new waste removal business. At first they didn't want to be humorous in the waste removal branding, but we quickly got them to reconsider seeing it as the only way to help bring the brand to fruition. We thought it's a dirty job but someones got to do it, so why not let the world know.

PIE

THAIN was commissioned by two entrepreneurs to help them develop a brand for for PIE a new "wood fired pizza joint" in Barrie, Ontario. We wanted to develop a brand that would stand out with unique colours and a very minimal design that leaves everything to your imagination.

We approached the project by doing the exact opposite of the major pizza franchises no heavy gradients, no exciting movement, just plain PIE. The brand was heavily influenced by 1970's graphic covers and designs.

We were asked by PIE to create a poster and web banner graphic for there Pie Dance Off competition. While being briefed we came up with the name Super Saucy and used sauce splatters for the type treatment. Another fun project from Pie.
